Craft Tacos & Tequila: A Culinary Fusion Experience in Mohegan Lake

It may be surprising but the best food item for me at Craft Tacos is the wings! They offer Buffalo Kimchi, Sweet Thai Chili, and Korean BBQ. The sauce is flavorful and the meat is plump. Mix and match to try them all. Next recommendation would be tacos which have too many options to list here. The beer and craft cocktail options are clearly listed around the restaurant and are the best options available around town. Whatever you like to drink you can find it here. The service here is always on point and everyone goes extra to make sure you have positive experience. Management is supportive and present. I highly recommend joining the mailing list to get all the updates and specials to plan out your next visit. They have live music, football special, and taco Tuesday discounts. Oh they are part of the Toast Rewards network so ever dollar spent is counted towards your next visit.

Amazing restaurant! Our group tried just about everything on the menu- taco flight, nachos, dumplings, street corn, plantains, burritos, beers.. all the perfect blend of Asian fusion. Highly recommend.

First time here. Went for dinner. The food was excellent and prices were reasonable. I had the taco sampler and tuna poke lettuce cups. The tacos in the picture are Carne Asada, Korean short rib, Al Pastor, Cartnitas, and Bang Bang Shrimp. The shrimp tacos were the best ones. The Carnitas one was good but dry. The Tuna Poke lettuce cups were really good. The tuna was excellent. The drinks were ok. I had a couple of different margaritas. The first spicy one was good. The second one was just fake tasting and was not spicy. The service was very good. I happen to go on Wednesday night, which turns out to be Lady's night. It was normal at first, then the dj setup, and starting doing karaoke. That was fine except the people singing sucked and it was really loud. You had to yell just to talk across the table (maybe im just getting old now lol) I will definitely go back and recommend going.

Food is amazing, service is elite (shout out to Allen for treating us like family) and the music and ambience was on point! We are now the newest regulars. I came yesterday and loved it so much that i brought my parents here today! Highly recommend. I'll see yall here...most likely on Freestyle Friday...I'll be the guy shaking my booty on the dancefloor!!!

The food is excellent. Came here 2x in one week, that’s how good it was. It was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also very good and strong and priced very well. Kaylee was our server both times and she was great! I highly recommend trying this place out if you want some good eating. This place just doesn’t miss. Will definitely be back. PS: Open a spot in Carmel would probably order here once a week for dinner.

Thank you Craft Tacos!!! So much good to say, went there for the first time last night, delicious tacos, great variety, and all the other dishes we tried were excellent, cocktails as well! Service also above and beyond! I left a very important item at the restaurant and they made sure I got it back right away, huge thanks to the amazing team at Craft Tacos!!! First off entere the restaurant and was told to sit whereever I wanted. I sat at a table towards the front which was small because I was alone. Sat there for 10 minutes till I realized I was at a table that a server wasn’t going to come to and I had to order on my phone. Love the concept but wish it had been more apparent. Ordered the 5 taco flight. From left to right. Beef Birria, Pork Carnitas, Bang Bang Shrimp, Crispy Chicken, Ahi Tuna. First off the Ahi Tuna was good but absolutely freezing cold. Just caught me off guard felt like I was biting into ice cream. But flavors were good. Crispy chicken was a waste. It was just chicken tenders and lettuce on a tortilla. Not bad but for $28 don’t waste is as one of your tacos. The bang bang shrimp was flavorful, very large shrimp on the taco it was good. The pork carnitas was very good. A little dry needed a sauce of some sort. Now the Beef Birria. That was amazing that single taco saved this visit. I would get that taco over and over again and probably gain 30lbs. Very juicy and flavorful lots of cheese very much worth it. The chips and salsa were fine, salsa honestly just taste store bought. I’m not sure if they make it in house but it wasn’t very special. Not bad at all but seemed to be lacking something. I also wasn’t sure if I was supposed to get my own drink or how that worked so that was annoying. I’m still not sure if I’m supposed to get up and go to the drink machine myself or if the serving staff just didn’t want to talk to me. I understand now that I was at a self service table I guess you could say but I wasn’t once asked if I needed anything or if my meal was what I expected maybe that’s just how it works there. I would go back I wouldn’t sit at the self service table or whatever it’s called.
